This position is responsible for several CRMA programs; post-discharge calls, OSHA/HIPAA compliance, Lab/Radiology/Endoscopy incident followup, and Customer Service training.
Office located at 600 Worcester Rd, Framingham, but travel throughout CRMA service area to specific offices as needed.
Hours: M-F 40 hrs/wk, with at least 3 days/wk onsite in synch with New Hire onboarding so the specific days may vary.
Fixed salary.

• All CRMA staff heavily use the CRMA electronic medical record, Epic. Applicants must have good PC skills and must be very comfortable using electronic medical records.
• Must have extensive clinical, phlebotomy, and office practice experience, preferably in a CRMA office.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Post-Discharge Calls: on a daily basis, runs reports to obtain list of CRMA patients discharged from MWMC, MGB facilities, and UMass. Evaluates each patient for whether a post-discharge appointment with a CRMA MD is needed and checks to see if one is already booked. If not, communicates with the PCP office to schedule an appointment. Coordinates TMP/ICMP patients with the CRMA Care Managers.
2. OSHA: conducts annual and New Hire compliance training for CRMA staff. Maintains and administers CRMA OSHA protocols, including local Emergency Action Plans. Inspects each CRMA office once every 2 years. Assists with the OSH 300 annual reporting
3. HIPAA: conducts annual and New Hire compliance training for CRMA staff. Maintains and helps administer CRMA HIPAA protocols. Administers BAAs for vendors.
4. Incident Followup. Responds to quality, safety, and service failures for CRMA lab, radiology, endoscopy, and phlebotomy services. Retrains offending staff on correct protocols. Documents and logs incidents. Meets regularly with Ancillary Dept managers and Operations Managers to followup on incidents.
5 Workplace Injury. Administers CRMA workplace injury followup protocol. Ensures both employee and patient get required testing and followup. Working closely with HR Manager
6. Dept Public Health. Ensures CRMA offices comply with drug closet rules. Help offices maintain CLIA certificates. Ensures CRMA offices comply with DPH rules for vaccine storage and administration. Maintains and coordinates infection-control protocols, ex. Covid response and N95 testing, when needed.
7. New Hires. Works with CRMA training team to conduct customer service training for new hires.
8. Office Managers. Support office managers and serve as subject-matter expert for OSHA, HIPAA, Safety, DPH, and Phlebotomy protocols. Present topics at Office Manager meetings.
9. Performs all other duties as tasked.
