Job Title: Part Time Billing Lockbox Clerk
Reports to: Billing Manager
Department: Billing
Summary:
This position is responsible for the sorting/opening mail as well as preparing and processing payments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monitoring and breaking down lockbox items.
- Responsible for sorting and opening incoming mail.
- Responsible for preparing insurance payments and customer payments for deposit.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent, 2-3 years related experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Effective interpersonal relationships with management and team members.
- Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately.
- Basic Mathematical Skills
- Ability to effectively manage time as related to daily tasks.
Physical Demands:
- Sit or Stand for extended periods.
- See to read small print
- Effectively communicate orally
- Manually operate keyboard, mouse and other personal computer devices.
- Occasionally lift 15 lbs
