Job Title:    Part Time Billing Lockbox Clerk

Reports to:  Billing Manager

Department: Billing


This position is responsible for the sorting/opening mail as well as preparing and processing payments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monitoring and breaking down lockbox items.
  • Responsible for sorting and opening incoming mail.
  • Responsible for preparing insurance payments and customer payments for deposit.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.


High School Diploma or equivalent, 2-3 years related experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Effective interpersonal relationships with management and team members.
  • Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately.
  • Basic Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time as related to daily tasks.

Physical Demands:

  • Sit or Stand for extended periods.
  • See to read small print
  • Effectively communicate orally
  • Manually operate keyboard, mouse and other personal computer devices.
  • Occasionally lift 15 lbs
